The Rārangi Water Technical Monitoring and Advisory Group

The Rārangi Water Technical Monitoring and Advisory Group was established in 2016. Its purpose is to advise the Rārangi District Residents’ Association on water issues affecting Rārangi.

The group consists of folk with some background in environmental monitoring. Examples of some of the issues are: preparing and delivering Resource Consent submissions to council, liaising with council staff regarding water issues, monitoring the council website environmental data pages particularly around flooding or storm events, providing information or advice to local residents, making presentations to the Rārangi Community through the RDRA.
